The exploration mockup that fed into the May 2026 palette migration away from hot pink. The page renders the same sample content under two candidate palettes: terracotta accent (#A85A3C) and earth-green accent (#3E5638), each with its own dark mode set. Maturity stage colors, tag background, accent-2 (secondary), and muted text are all swapped per palette so the cascade is visible.
The earth-green palette is what shipped. It became the live color tokens system: deep moss-green primary, warm bronze secondary, terracotta reserved for the maturity-complete stage. The mockup is preserved as the visual record of the decision and the runner-up.
